Tubal Ligation Reversal

Dr. Perry is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has had special training in microsurgery. He has been performing tubal Ligation reversal surgery since 1997. His goal is to optimize your chances of conceiving through surgery.

The Surgery:

The tubes are repaired using a multilayer technique followed by a chromotubation to ensure the tubes are open. The surgery is performed through laparoscopy making 4 small 5mm incisions. The incision is closed using a plastic surgery technique and results in minimal scaring. Patients go home the day of surgery.

The surgery is performed at the V5 Medical Center in Richland Washington.

What to expect from surgery:

As a result of the surgery, the tubes will grow back together. In most cases, it does not matter if your tubal ligation was done with clamps, tying, or burning. The length of time since your tubal ligation does not affect your tubes ability to grow back together. Your individual success rate is affected by how much of the tube segment was left attached to the uterus and ovaries, your age, how regular your periods are, and your partner’s sperm count.

Fees: The fee is approximately $6500.00 which covers Dr. Perry's fee, anesthesia fee, operating room. Please call the office for more informaiton.

Dr. Perry, On 07/21/06 you performed a tubal reversal on my wife, Nicole. On 09/11/06 a test was done to see how effective the surgery was and if everything healed correctly.
